The Volunteer chapter typically meets the third Thursday of each month
at lunch, with three months off during the year. Occasionally,
meeting times and/or dates will differ from the regular schedule. Meetings
are held in various locations including downtown Knoxville, West
Knoxville,
and Oak Ridge. Check here regularly to get information on future
meetings including location, topic, speaker, cost, date, and time.
When registering for a meeting, please indicate whether you are a student, member, or non-member. Also indicate if you prefer a vegetarian meal, if available.

Chapter Meeting: Public Relations as a Tool to Influence Legislation - George Korda & Michael Holtz
Election season is in full swing, with a host of local and state primary and general elections on tap in the coming months. With interest high in a number of races, George Korda of Korda Communications and Michael Holtz, APR of the American Cancer Society will present Public Relations as a part of the political process.
When: Thursday, July 15, 2010; 11:30 a.m.; Lunch & Program at noon.
Where: Scripps Networks, 9721 Sherrill Blvd (Visitors Entrance Gate)
Cost: $20 for members and students; $25 for guests
Lunch: Curry Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad on Croissant, Roast Beef Roasted Red Pepper with Asiago Cheese on Onion Roll, or Spicy Sprouts, Cucumber, Avocado, Grilled Onions, Provolone on Honey Wheat.
