How to subscribe to the PRSA Volunteer chapter listserv:
Send an email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.UTK.EDU with the message “subscribe prsatalk ‘your name’” in the subject and body of the email. (Ex. subscribe prsatalk John Doe)
Or, visit http://listserv.utk.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=prsatalk&A=1
Enter name and e-mail address, and click "Join
PRSATALK"
You will receive a confirmation email letting you know that you are now subscribed to the listserv. You will also receive instructions on how to send a message to other members of the listserv, how to unsubscribe, and other helpful functions.
What kinds of emails will I receive if I subscribe?
- Notices about monthly chapter meetings
- Updates on new job openings in the area
- Important information about entering the yearly PRSA Awards of Excellence, due dates, date of function, etc.
- Other emails related to the PR profession and this region
- Any emails that members choose to send via the listserv
How do I send a message to the other members of the listserv?
Send an email to PRSATALK@LISTSERV.UTK.EDU and all members of the listserv will receive that email. They will be able to respond to you using the email from which you sent the original message.
How do I leave the listserv?You may leave the list at any time by sending a "SIGNOFF PRSATALK" command to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.UTK.EDU.
